Trufflepig Films are a small independent company. Our films are made a little like the old Hardy reels, one at a time. Revenue from the sales of The Lost World of Mr Hardy are being ploughed back into making our new films:

“The Moo Man”
Life on a small UK dairy farm is tough, big seems to be the only way to survive. Yet Steve Hook with just 55 cows in his herd is bucking the trend. His farm, Longleys produces raw milk. It's banned in most places yet the public seem to love it - if they can get their hands on it! Restricted to door to door sales, Steve milks the cows, wife Clare bottles and dad Phil does the round in the local town.
Steve's attitude toward his cows is exemplary, it's how we'd all like our farms to be. So how comes we make it so tough for such a great farmer to get by? The Moo man is our new film and we're shooting now. We'll get some clips up as soon as we can.

“The River”
During the making of “The Lost World of Mr Hardy” we filmed some fantastic interviews with riverkeepers on the classic chalkstreams. They opened our eyes to a new story but one which we could not fit into The Lost World of Mr Hardy. Rivers have so much fascination to us all, yet are so contentious and have changed so dramatically in recent times. It's a theme we would like to explore and investigate further.

“The Lost World of Angling”
We really enjoyed working with the old archive films in “The Lost World of Mr Hardy” as well as filming interviews with characters who still know that fading world. There is another lost land hidden away in the archive films, one we could not show, a future project will reveal that lost continent.
